Karate Champ for the #NES | Nate’s RetroPlays

Karate Champ on the Nintendo Entertainment System is a 1 on 1 karate fighting game that was released on 1986.  It is based on an arcade game of the same name, but changes were made to it in the home conversion.  The player takes the role of a karate competitor and has access to a wide variety of moves. There is no health, instead one hit landed ends the round and points are awarded.  As you progress through the levels you are also met with bonus stages.  The game also features digitized voices, something not very common on the NES in 1986.
