About Kevin Atomic

About Kevin Atomic Kevin Atomic is a channel about collecting vinyl records, making fancy classic cocktails, and playing video games! First up is RetroActive; a show Kevin started back in 2009! Now it is back and still focusing on the retro video games that have never stopped being awesome. Kevin will talk about games from the early days with the Atari 2600, Nintendo NES and Sega Genesis all the way until the Gamecube, Xbox and Playsation 2. Then is Kevin Atomic Plays; where Kevin will be playing games new and old and making jokes; good ones I assure you. Cocktail Party is a show about making classic and delicious cocktails (such as an Old Fashioned) that are perfect for any get together (or when you just want a drink!). Lastly is Record Spin where Kevin will be spinning awesome and odd records new and old and also talking about record collecting.

  1. This is one of my favorite games on the Sega Genesis! Or well, on the Sega Mega Drive, I suppose, since there wasn’t a Sega Genesis version released for… unknown reasons. I first played this game thanks to Steam, and I loved it overall; I seriously like this game’s citrus-like art style, super upbeat music, and multiple genres of fun gameplay! By the way, I remember that the faeries give you temporary invincibility from enemies, and the thing about the damage amounts is that direct enemy contact kills you, but just hitting their projectiles takes away a smaller amount of health.

It looks like you had a lot of fun with the game too, and thanks for reminding me of this series. Solid video quality by the way; you even captured the original game’s frame rate, and I like that you added borders to the video.

    Beware the clown bees!

  2. Thanks, I’m glad you liked the video! I’m glad you enjoyed the quality as well. Right? Screw those creepy clown bees!
