The Mega Man 2 adventure continues. And Quick Man’s stage is some serious business.
For a little bit of fun behind the scenes bonus footage, we reveal the story behind the first ever Game Challenge (Harold playing Actraiser 2), and how it all came to pass. Happy weekend, and have a laugh!
In celebration of my favorite season, I play one of my favorite arcade games of all time: Killer Instinct 2!
Wanna go for a ride? Then hop aboard, as we take Harold on the DKC Mine Kart Challenge!
So since I was doing the game playthrough for this Halloween season, I thought I’d also take a crack at my first full game soundtrack video! This game doesn’t just have fun gameplay and nice variety, it also happens to feature one of the best 8-bit music soundtracks on the NES!
Really kicking off the October Halloween Countown, I’d like to present one of my all-time favorite NES games, based on possibly my favorite toy line of all time, Monster in My Pocket! A great Konami game, with a fantastic soundtrack, and naturally…tons of monsters!
Well, it’s been a long, hard road for Chris, playing Hyperstone Heist for the first time, and he’s Game Over’ed a bit along the way, but he’s here, and it’s time to deal with the final threat: Super Shredder!
Last call for Burger Time! This time around I decide to take a crack at it. Will I be a master Burger Builder? Or will those goddamn hotdogs get me?
Not satisfied with his first run, Reed decided to take a second crack at a childhood favorite of his, Burger Time!
In today’s Game Challenge, I take on Reed in a Best of Three series, at my favorite puzzle game of all time, Puzzle Bobble aka Bust a Move! Round 1, Fight!
We’ve got more Donkey Kong action, as Harold takes a crack at Barrel Madness!
The final Power Rangers battle ends the way they always do: With some Megazord Action!
It’s Kimberly’s turn up to bat, as the Power Rangers adventure continues!
We challenge Harold to play a game that’s right up his alley. One of the grossest (or funniest, for some) games ever made: Boogerman, on the Sega Genesis!
First Ninja Turtles, now Power Rangers. It’s more fighting action than you can shake a power coin at! Saddle up, cuz it’s Morphin’ Time!
So I FINALLY got around to finishing this monster project I started. It was good, but I think ideally, I should have done it a year each article. Lesson learned. This final installment covers the years 2010-2015. http://retrorevelations.blogspot.com/2016/05/best-of-best-20-years-of-life-and.html Here’s a sneak peak at some of…
Time for a new Retro Solo episode, this time taking a look at probably my favorite puzzle game of all time, Puzzle Bobble aka Bust a Move!
Nothing weirder than getting stuck in the Genie’s lamp! Especially when it’s a paragon of great game design. RIP Robin Williams!
We continue our adventures of befuddlement and randomness on the streets of Agrabah and beyond, in Aladdin Pt. 2!
Ok, so believe it or not, the Super Mario World playthrough with Corey was actually vanilla mode. It was the first attempt really recording something like that, and we just kind of ran. In subsequent attempts, though there are hiccups along the way, shit gets rather “amped”.
As proof of that, here’s the beginning of me making Corey play Aladdin on Sega Genesis. Shit gets real in a hurry, and the craziness eventually gets dialed up to 11.
And if you like what you see, don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe over on Youtube!
So, you guys want a treat? I decided to put up an early recording of me trying to play through the original arcade version of Mortal Kombat 1. And similar to my SNES Street Fighter II play through, eventually shit gets real. Too real. Raw, no edits, just…
So near the end of last year, I decided “hey, you know, people do these ‘best game of the year’” type lists, so seeing as how I really don’t do that kind of thing much, I figured I’d give it a whirl for once. I initially set…
